Fe33 Typ3 6235: I’m attacked by a Car’ish and destroyed it. I also discovered that I’m a bio-hacker. Not much happened after that in Fr33 Typ3 6235.
Fr33 Typ3 6236: Shortest one. This time, I ran into Brian and Amber. We were attacked by a Car’ish. I won, but I was buried in a pile of bricks.
Fr33 Typ3 6237: I was taken to a hospital and got a recap of what happened. The hospital turned out to be an ambush (I healed though). We escaped in an ambulance and left. I was attacked by some person as we were driving. The ambulance exploded and no one died. We found a hotel.
Fr33 Typ3 6238: I was attacked by Suzie. I discovered who Amber worked for and earned about the GGR. I lost my temper and took down an army. Suzie and Amber attacked us.
Fr33 Typ3 6239: Brian and I fought Amber and Suzie. They won and took us captive. I left and busted Brian out from his captive. Paul came to our rescue and dezombified Brian. Got some stuff and made the P-90x. Amber and Suzie made me an offer and sent some hummers to test the P-90x.
Fr33 Typ3 6240: Took out the hummers. Amber made me another proposition. Saved Brian and Paul. Took Paul out and learned that Amber had a katana. We also learned that Brian was crazy and couldn’t be killed. Amber captured me.
“What happened?” I asked groggily. I opened my eyes slowly due to the fact that my eyes were dilated. When I could see completely, I looked around the room. It was a metal cell with no visible way in or out. I began to stand up, but I fell over because I had no feeling in my legs.
“You were,” the voice paused for a moment, “stung.”
“Great,” I mumbled.
“Don’t worry,” the voice said. As the voice spoke, my head began to clear. I then realized that I was being held captive by the GGR. To be more specific, Amber.
“Why do you want me here?” I asked. I could use my extremities again so I began to stand up.
“You can stand again,” she said. I sopped for a moment. “I’m not going to attack you. And you’re not a prisoner, you’re a guest.”
“Why am I a guest?” I asked confused. “I mean, I’m your enemy. I would think that you would…”
“Shut up,” she said. I looked at her. “You’re here for one reason. I need you to build a weapon.”
“You’re joking right?” I asked her.
“No,” she said. She pulled out a small knife and put it to my throat. “If you don’t, I’ll kill you.” I didn’t move, or breathe for a few moments. “Understand?”
“Yeah,” I said slowly. She took the knife away from my throat and pulled out a small piece of paper.
“This is the basic design of the weapon I, err, we want,” she said. I looked at the paper. The design was a small cruiser and three flagships.
“Okay,” I said calmly. At the same time I was freaking out. “Do you have the details?”
“Go talk to Alaini,” she said. “She’ll have the blueprints.”
I nodded and walked off. As I was walking the hall, I looked at my watch (mainly to see of it was still there) and stopped. My watch doubled as a COM link and a small rocket/laser launcher/gun. I checked to make sure that no one was watching me and that the cameras that lined the hall were pointing away.
“Hey,” I said quietly. My watch suddenly produced a tiny holo-screen.
“Yeah?” Nick said.
“I need you to bust me out of here,” I said quickly. “They want some ship to use to conquer territory. I’m going to get the specs in a minute.”
“You need anything else?” he asked.
“No,” I said. I thought for a moment. “When you come, bring burners.”
“Right,” Nick said. “Also, when do I come to get you?”
“15 minutes,” I said. “Come too soon, I might get killed.”
“Okay,” he said. “I’ll trace you now.” The link closed I was standing still.
“Matt…,” a voice on the intercom said. “Where are you?” I cringed for a moment then began to walk toward Alaini’s quarters.
“You’re late,” Amber said.
“I got lost on the way,” I said.
“I understand,” Alaini said. “This place looks the same everywhere. I say they should make it more colorful and stuff. I mean there could be some lights and arrows to help people. Also there should be…”
“Alaini!” Amber shouted suddenly. “Stop talking!”
“What?” Alaini said annoyed. “I was just saying.”
“Can you say more with fewer words?” Amber asked impatiently. “Anyway, here are the plans. If you need anything don’t hesitate to ask. And one other thing,”
“Yeah?” I asked looking at the plans.
“If you leave with the plans, I don’t blame you,” Amber said. I looked up in surprise. “Suzie has this ‘take the galaxy by force’ and stuff. I mean there is no one who could pose a threat off this planet. You’re the only challenge here.” Amber laughed lightly. “Do you think you can stop us? You’re alone, and you have an undead imitator chasing you.”
“Undead imitator?” I asked suddenly.
“Yeah,” Amber answered. “Brian’s not undead. He can just regenerate quickly. I’m undead.” Amber walked up to me and then straight through me. “Only the undead can do that. That’s why Suzie is afraid of leaving me alone near you.”
“She’s afraid of me becoming undead?” I asked.
“Yep,” Amber said. “Only thing, you already have some of the qualities and skills of the undead. I’ve always wondered why.”
“The same reason I can appear with no reason!” someone said. We all turned to look at the source of the voice. Nick was standing at the door holding a P-90x.
“Nick!” I said. “What took you so long?”
‘Went to get lunch,” he answered.
“How did he know how to get here?” Amber asked.
“I contacted him about five minutes ago,” I said. “We’re n1nj45.”
“Really?” Amber asked. “He’s a ninja?”
“No,” Nick said, “not ninja, n1nj4.”
“The difference?” Alaini asked.
“We’re faster and stronger than normal ninjas,” I said.
“Well, I think that you guys need to make outfits to be ‘n1nj45.’ You need a hood and the right shoes and…” Alaini explained. She stopped short when Nick threw two razor disks near her head.
“Thank you for your opinion,” Nick said. “It is highly appreciated, but we have our own ideas.”
“And we’ll be going now!” I exclaimed.
“Fine,” Amber said. “It’s going to have to look like an escape though.”
“Okay,” I said. “That will make it more fun.” After I said that, Nick and I took off running down the hallway.
“Make sure they don’t escape,” Amber told Alaini.
“Understood,” Alaini answered. She stepped over to a small computer and typed in some instructions.
We had made it to the main door and began to make our way to the gate when several security drones landed in front of us and began to advance. These drones were large metallic cats. Each one had a chain gun on the back and long metal claws. Their mouths had rows of razor sharp teeth and machine guns lining the throat.
“Oh crap,” Nick said. The closest cat fired its chain gun. We jumped for cover. Nick landed somewhere behind the cats and I on top of the second cat. The first cat turned, growled and fired its chain gun. I leaped off the gun and fell underneath a hummer. The chain gun of the second cat blew off and skid towards me. Nick fired the P-90x at the cats trying to take them down. The bullets bounced off and the cats began to advance on him. I crawled from underneath the hummer and examined the gun.
“Heads up!” I shouted. The cats turned to look at me. Nick took that time to leave that spot and get into a better spot to shoot. I located the wires that caused the firing of ammo and set my self up. When the cats had come into range (so that the hail would be merciless) I fired. The first cat was hit and exploded. The second cat backed off for a moment. Everyone stood where they were for the next five or so seconds. Then, an unfortunate event happened. The first cat regenerated to complete health. It turned to look me in the eyes. What I say next would haunt me for the next 15 to 30 seconds. Our eyes met, and I saw something in the eyes that I found rather disturbing.
Now I don’t mean I look into its eye and I saw a picture of me or I ended up in its eye (that would be weird though), but I saw something that reminded me of me. The cat turned and began to pace around me. I stood up and began to pace in the same pattern. The second cat leaped up to attack me, but Nick was ready. Nick had set up his tank sniper. It’s a sniper rifle with belt ammo that, basically, is tank ammo. He fired three times, causing the cat to advance on him. As the cat I faced and I circled each other, there was a series of shots a yell, a nasty screech, and a crunch. I never turned away from the cat. The cat though, looked up to see what was happening. I then took out my ion bolt sword and hit it in the eye then fell back. The cat screamed in pain and fell to the ground for a moment. I leapt into the air and fired ion bolts at it like crazy. I didn’t stop until I was sure it was dead.
“Wow,” Nick said. “It seems that they don’t want us to leave.”
I didn’t say anything. I walked over to the burning carcass and picked up a piece of armor that wasn’t burnt too badly.
“They used my DNA!” I shouted to no one.
“They did?” Nick asked.
“Yeah,” I said with little energy. “They used me to make these things. That’s why it was so hard to kill them. And where did this leather jacket come from?”
“You’ve been wearing that the entire time,” Nick said.
“Oh,” I said.
“Wow, this is incredible!” Nick exclaimed.1
“What?” I asked.
“This!” he said excitedly. He then slapped the metal onto my skin. When he removed his hand, the armor didn’t fall off. “It must conform to your DNA. We have to study this.”
“After,” I say annoyed, “after we find out why those things existed.”
“Sure,” Nick said. We walked back into the facility that we just came out of.
“What are they doing?” Amber asked herself. She had been watching the entire time. “I’m going to make sure you never find out. It will make it easier to capture you two.” She laughed slightly and walked away.
As we walked down a hall, we saw a sign that read “Come Here For Info! ►” Nick and I looked at each other and shrugged. Before we walked down the hall, we pulled out our weapons and began advancing down the hall slowly. As we reached the end, I saw a light. We stopped and Nick found an electrical outlet. He took out two wires and plugged them in.
“That’s a door to the outside,” he said. “I’m getting the floor plan to the place.”
I nodded and looked around. I heard footsteps approaching quickly.
“Nick, we’ve got company!” I said urgently. We leapt to the ceiling and crawled into the vents.
“Are you sure that they are here?” we heard Suzie ask.
“Yes,” Amber answered. “They’re here. They’ve avoided detection though.”
“This isn’t something Matt would do,” Suzie said. “And since when does he have allies?”
“For all we know, he could have an army!” Amber exclaimed. “Where is Stephanie?”
“I’ve been following the two spies the entire time,” Stephanie said. Nick and I glanced through the vents to see where she was. At first, she wasn’t there, but she suddenly appeared.
“Cloak,” I whispered. Nick simply nodded.
“Where are they now?” Suzie asked.
“The vent right above us,” Stephanie said. At that moment, Nick and I were running down the hall as quickly as n1nj4ly possible. We were around the corner when we stopped short. Before us was a huge army. Amber, Suzie, and Stephanie ran up behind us.
“We’ve got you,” Suzie said happily. She began walking toward us when we heard an engine revving. We all looked around confused when a six-wheel pickup came speeding down the hall. Behind the wheel was Ervin, the hit man Sam. He was hanging out the window holding a semi-automatic and firing like crazy.
“We’ve got a ride!” I shouted. As Ervin passed, Nick and I leapt into the bed and rode off.
“Nice timing!” I shouted.
“Yeah!” Ervin yelled.
It was about an hour after we had escaped that place before anyone spoke. Nick and I had climbed into the cab and sat down, Nick in the front passenger and me in the back.
“What were you guys doing?” Ervin asked. “You guys are in some GGR research lab and getting into a gun battle? Why didn’t you tell me about this?”
“It wasn’t supposed to be a gun battle,” I said. “It was recon, but things went downhill.” At that time, Amber and Alaini were sitting in some room filled with computer monitors.
“Where are they?” Amber asked.
“They’re headed toward NYC,” Alaini answered.
“Find them and track them when you catch up with them,” Amber said. “Find their hideout and destroy it. Capture them and bring Matt to the isolation chamber. You do what you want to the rest.”
“Okay!” Alaini said excitedly.
“Also, try not to destroy the base,” Suzie said.
“Hi Suzie,” Amber and Alaini said.
“Do you want their base?” Amber asked.
“Yes, I want them to build the ship there,” Suzie said.
“Understood,” Alaini said.
We had arrived at a restaurant about three hours after we had left that place. We stepped inside and ordered some food. As we were sitting, a few girls entered the restaurant. They were wearing armor like the girl who attacked me a while ago. They probably were GGR soldiers. After we ate, we walked out to get some air before we left. We hadn’t said anything for a while though. We didn’t get into the truck yet because we had been moving for so long that we were motion sick for a little. I kept an eye on the girls to make sure that they never came after us. When they left, they got into a pink hummer and sat there.
“I think we’re being followed,” I said.
“You’re crazy,” Ervin said.
“Matt’s right,” Nick said. “There’s been a weird scan going on for the past two hours.”
“Seriously,” Ervin said, “you guys are crazy,”
“Yeah, whatever,” I said. I began to walk away. “Thanks for your help Ervin.”
“Sure,” he said. “I’ll see you guys later.” He got into his truck and drove off.
“Now what?” Nick asked. He glanced over to the pink hummer. It had turned on and began to crawl across the parking lot.
“Now,” I said with a grin. “Now we really drive!” Suddenly, two vehicles appeared. They were two Burner X’s. They were black and had a gun mounted on top. The tires were wide enough to take up a lane. The vehicle itself was about 15 feet long and 6 feet wide. The vehicle could also extend another two feet longer.
“These drove here on their own,” I said.
“Sw33t,” Nick said. “Unmanned vehicles!”
We got into the Burners and drove off. Behind us, the pink hummer began to follow. We had gotten as far as
“Nick!” I shouted over the radio. “We’ve got company!”
“I realized that!” he shouted back.
We sped off into
“Do you think this will draw attention?” Nick asked sarcastically. After he said that, we heard sirens coming up behind us. A police car pulled up behind us and stopped. A cop stepped out and walked up to my vehicle.
“Sir,” the cop said, “this vehicle is too large. It breaks several regulations that are in place by the GGR.”
“Wait,” I said suddenly. “The GGR?”
“Yes, the GGR is inn control of this country,” the cop said. He looked at a clipboard. “And you are a fugitive! You’re under arrest!”
Before the cop could do anything, Nick and I sped off.
“We’ve got runners!” the cop shouted into his radio. “Their master fugitives!”
“Master fugitives?” Nick asked confused.
“Probably because we escaped from the head of the GGR!” I shouted over the COM link.
We drove into
“Come on!” I shouted. “Can we get a break?”
“You can surrender and help us take over the world,” Amber said.
Before she did anything else, I opened fire with the low fire guns. I took out three hummers and hit the nearest wall. Nick took that opportunity and drove through the opening. I followed him through. Unfortunately, Amber followed us. I took the lead and began to drive into
“Good,” he said. “You found the vehicle transport.”
“What?” I asked.
“The vehicles are sent into a wormhole that deposits the vehicles that are sent to the base,” Nick explained.
He parked his car and sent it through. We stood there for a moment and said nothing. In about ten minutes people began leaving their apartments and such.
“We need to get off this planet for a while,” I said after a while.
“And how do you intend to do that?” Nick asked.
“Stealth Infiltrator,” I said.
“What?” Nick asked.
“I’ll explain later,” I said.
We walked for a while and decided to go find a newspaper. When we found a newspaper stand I glanced at the headline. It read: “Master fugitives at large! $10,000,000 reward for their capture.”
“See?” I said to Nick. “The heat is huge here.”
“You’re right,” he said. “We need to go to a library.”
“To dangerous,” I said. “We need to get out of here.”
“Matt!” I heard a voice say. I glanced down to see my watch blink. A screen appeared and Sean’s head showed up. “We’ve got a problem.”
“And that is?” I asked.
“The GGR is attacking Central and
“Crap!” I said angrily. “Nick, where’s the nearest transport?”
“Where’s the nearest construction site at?” Nick asked the vender.
“Down two blocks,” he said. “You look familiar.”
“Probably someone who looks a lot like me,” Nick said nervously. We began to walk away when some bystander recognized us.
“Hey!” a person shouted. “It’s the master fugitives!”
“What kind of…” I began to shout when I heard sirens in the distance. “Let’s move!”
We began to run when people blocked our path. We simply jumped over them and kept running. We reached the construction site but we were discovered by a construction worker.
“Hey!” he shouted. “Fugitives can’t be here!”
I kicked him the gut, knocking him over. I also took his radio and smashed it on the ground. We took off running just before a Lotus pulled up. I climbed onto the tower that was being built and hid. Nick went looking for the transporter.
“What happened to you?” Amber asked. As she checked on the worker, Suzie and Alaini pulled up in a hummer.
“What’s going on?” Suzie asked.
“The fugitives are here,” the worker groaned.
“Alaini, find them!” Suzie ordered.
“Okay,” Alaini said and she began to walk away. I pulled out a frag missile launcher and waited until no one was looking in my direction. I fired the missile and dropped to a different level. Nick climbed up to where I dropped to.
“Found it,” Nick whispered. I nodded and fired a second missile. We dropped to the ground and ran. We didn’t notice Alaini behind us until she shouted at us.
“What are you doing?” she asked.
“Going to the bathroom,” Nick said.
“What?” I asked confused.
“Run!” Nick shouted. I dropped instead because the frag missile hit the beams of the building and took it down. Nick dragged me out from the building to some portable toilets.
“Are you serious?” I asked him.
“Just get in one!” he shouted. He let go of me and jumped into the nearest one. I jumped into the one directly next to it. Instead of finding myself in a disgusting box, I was in the N3 underground base. Nick and Sean were standing there.
“Nice,” Sean said.
“Okay,” I said exhausted. “What is the GGR attacking?”
“All of Central and
“Send them a message saying that we have taken Asia and our base is in
“Why?” Nick asked.
“To make a surprise attack on them,” I said.
“Sure,” Sean said and walked off.
“This battle could end this ridiculous war,” Nick said.
“No,” I replied. “More of tick off the GGR to the point that they flat out make a full scale attack on us.”
“Why do you say that?” Nick asked. We headed for the landing bay.
“We have something they want,” I said.
“And that is?”
“Technology and several key planets in this galaxy.”
“Don’t you think a full out attack is more of our style?”
I looked at Nick as if he were crazy. “When we pull that off,” I said annoyed, “is when our reinforcements get here.”
“And when will that be?” Sean asked.
“Not soon enough,” I said grimly. “It will take them about a month to get here. By then, the GGR will have conquered most of this planet, if not all of it. If they take Earth, we will destroy this base and evacuate to the Stealth Infiltrator, our last chance to win this war.”
“Is it a ship?” Nick asked.
“Yeah,” I answered. “It’s currently in orbit. Also, when this base explodes, it will take down their land bases and some air fields of theirs.”
“Sw33t,” Nick said.
“Where is the GGR?” I asked Sean.
“They’re two hours away,” Sean answered.
“Help me get these vehicles ready,” I said. “When we finish, the only vehicles here will be the bomber, S-22, and stealth infiltrator.”
“Wait,” Nick said. “I thought…”
“The N3 stealth is the one in space,” I said. “This one is a recon fighter.”
“Okay,” Nick said.
“Come on,” I said. “We have a battle to win.”
We spent the next two or so hours setting up the vehicles that would be transported to the N3 Stealth Infiltrator. When we finished, we had three fighters left. I would be using the Sonic Bomber, Nick in the S-22, and Sean using an Infiltrator. We took off and began to fly circles within the base.
“When will they get here?” I asked myself impatiently.
“They’re about five minutes away,” Nick said.
“Okay,” I said. “Let’s get going. Nick, cover any fighters that come too close. Sean, give us updates in their movements and take down as many fighters without being detected.”
We headed toward the exit transport that would deposit us in the Antarctic. When we reached
“Did anyone set the turrets to auto?” I asked.
“Yep,” Nick said. “All of the defense turrets are set to destroy any unmarked target.”
“Good,” I said, “because here they come!”
There was a wave of fighters coming in at high speeds. Sean flew towards them and cloaked his fighter. The GGR was using F-22’s and stealth gliders. Suddenly, three gliders exploded. Nick and I sped towards the GGR cruiser (which I didn’t know was completed) and began shooting any vehicle that got in our way. I reached the cruiser before Nick and did a quick bomb run. The bombs hit, and exploded. The only things that were damaged were any enemy fighters nearby.
“Crap!” I shouted. “They have shields!”
“Hit them with an EMP!” Sean suggested.
“Okay!” I shouted. I shot down three more fighters. “I’ll need you guys to trail me!”
I flew about 300 yards above the battle and dropped two bombs. The enemy fighters that trailed me were destroyed. I check my radar and saw that Nick and Sean had fallen into position. I flipped so that I could bomb the ship and have them shoot the bomb.
“How does this work?” I asked.
“You’ll see!” Nick yelled. “Just shoot the bomb with the ionic plasma ammo!”
I dropped the bomb and fired upon it. Nick and Sean did the same. As it fell, any ship that came to close stopped firing and dropped with the bomb. The bomb hit the shield and let off a huge shockwave. Because our vehicles were EM shielded, they didn’t crash. The other fighters fell like stones. We floated around for a moment, waiting. After we assumed that no attack was coming, we flew toward the hanger bay. We landed and did nothing for a few moments. When we felt safe, the jets transformed. The jets turned into armor with a huge chain gun. It was similar to the tank sniper, except the explosion was larger and more powerful.
“Come on,” I said. I looked through the helmet that was formed during the transformation. I could see the specs of the ship and see any heat, weapons, or undead people. We headed out of the hanger and walked down a hall. As we reached the end, I stopped and dropped to my knees. I crawled slowly toward the end of the hall and peaked around the corner. Amber was lying on the ground unconscious. I stood up halfway (I wasn’t at my full height) and advanced slowly toward her. The area around here was torn up and destroyed From the looks of things, it could have been a creature. I glanced around to see if anything was standing nearby or hiding in shadowy spots. I bent over and checked to see if there was a pulse.
What am I doing? I thought to myself. She’s undead. Why would she have a pulse? I checked anyway. Surprisingly, she did have a pulse and was breathing lightly. I stood up and stopped for a moment.
“Guys?” I asked to anyone who could hear me. “Are you standing around?” I thought I had heard a noise behind me. I was a n1nj4 yes, but I was wearing bulky armor so I couldn’t react as quickly. I turned around to see a cat behind me. (Not a kitten type cat, but the cat that nearly killed me and Nick before.) I began to back up when I remembered that I was wearing state-of-the-art battle gear. I pulled out the chain gun/ machine gun/ shockwave blaster and fired the shockwave blast. The cat was knocked backwards and hit wall. The wall around it clasped and buried it.
“Leave,” I heard someone moan behind me. I looked down and saw Amber trying to turn over. “Leave or it will kill you!”
“And let you get torn apart by this and not let me kill you?” I asked. “Not a chance!” I switched to the chain gun and opened a huge wave of blast at the cat. It had pulled itself out of the wall and charged me. The blast knocked it backwards and ripped parts off it. I changed to machine gun and fired until the cat was limping on one leg (that’s more of hopping, but who cares?). I launched a missile and destroyed the cat completely.
“Why did you stay?” Amber asked. She had stood up and brushed off the loose debris that was on her. “You could have left and had fewer people of the GGR to worry about.”
“Yeah, but that would have been heartless,” I said in response. “Besides, you intend to turn Suzie in for her bounty, don’t you?”
Amber stopped for a moment and stared at the ground. “You wouldn’t tell her, would you?”
“No,” I said. “I intend on getting her bounty as well.”
“Okay,” Amber said with a sigh. “I intend on taking over the GGR from Suzie. She can’t seem to win a battle. She can’t capture you guys.”
“You can’t keep me captive,” I added.
“Still, I can capture you,” she said annoyed. “Will you help me?”
“I might,” I said. “I have a feeling that there will be a revolt of the n1nj45 against me soon. I was stepping down next week. But I feel that I won’t have a week. And with the reinforcements coming, I might be killed if I don’t disappear. I also intend on taking down the head bounty hunter. This will be fun.”
“It might,” Amber said. “We should leave now.”
Nick was watching from a distance. “Sean, Matt’s caught on. We need to take him down! Now!”
“Roger,” Sean said. He aimed a sniper rifle at the bay door, waiting for me to walk through. Before I walked through the door, I shot Sean in the arm, and knocked him unconscious. Amber and I stole a cargo ship that wasn’t knocked out by the EMP. We left and headed for the atmosphere.
As we left the planet’s gravity field, I went to check to life support system. “Why did you help me?” Amber asked suddenly.
“No reason,” I said. “I wanted to take one of those things out anyway.”
“Really?” she asked.
“Yeah,” I said. “Why are you trying to get Suzie’s bounty?” I looked at the holographic computer screen generated by my watch. I looked up the bounties for Suzie and me. When I saw the value, I nearly ran into a closed door.
“I want to be able to take control of the GGR,” she said. “Why do you want to be the head bounty hunter?”
“I don’t,” I answered. “I just want to fight someone who says they have skills.” I went back to checking the systems of the ship. “You can enter hyperspace safely now.”
“Okay,” Amber said. She powered the engines so that the ship entered hyperspace.
Three days on that ship were long, boring, and somewhat violent. I stayed in the computer room for the majority of the ride. The only time I wasn’t in the computer room, I was checking the fuel. I don’t know why she did this, but she did.
One of the times I had been checking the fuel, Amber walked in behind me quietly with a staff. She was about to hit me when I turned around.
“What’s with the staff?” I asked.
“Nothing,” Amber answered nervously.
“Okay,” I replied. I went back to the computer room. I closed and locked the door and stayed there for another six hours. I came out again to check some other systems when Amber hit me in the back of the leg.
“What was that for?” I asked angrily.
“I’m sorry Matt,” she said. She hit me again with the staff and tried to knock me unconscious. I managed to take the staff from her and I made it to the engine room. I clasped on the floor and sighed. After that, I never traveled the ship without a weapon.
When we dropped out of hyperspace, we were above a planet. I couldn’t tell what the planet was from my position in the computer room. Amber was at the controls talking to someone on the COM link.
“He’s in the computer room sleeping,” Amber said. There was a response but it was garbled. “Also, he seems to know when to prevent his own death.”
As she was talking, I went to the escape pods at the end of the ship. I got in and launched it.
“Wait,” Amber said. “An escape pod was launched! There’s a life sign on it too.” Amber thought for a moment. “Hey, Matt! Matt, you there?” When she heard no response, she pushed the throttle to full speed. “I can’t believe he launched himself off the ship! He’s going to kill himself!”
“Man, this is bumpy!” I said in the escape pod. “I wonder if I’m in the atmosphere.” I looked out through the top of the escape pod to see what was happening. The cargo ship was following me at high speeds.
“Why is she following me?” I asked myself. “Is she trying to run me down or something?” As I finished reentry into the atmosphere and there was a huge explosion near the pod. I looked out through the side window to see what happened. There were some GGR cruisers and N3 cruisers shooting at me.
“Please identify yourself or be…” I heard over the COM link. Before the person finished, I had blown open the bottom part of the escape pod and dropped out. I flew down to the ground at extreme speeds that would kill any other human. As I dropped, I had the armor that I had earlier activate. It built itself around me as armor, and then turned into the bomber that I used in the battle back on Earth. I flew off as fast as I could to avoid the incoming cruisers. The cargo ship trailed me as best it could, but it eventually stopped. I kept going until I was in an abandoned part of a city. I landed at a base that looked empty.
“Man,” I said to myself. “I can’t believe that just happened. A GGR ship and a N3 ship fighting together? That’s just not possible.”
“Oh it is,” I heard from behind me. I turned around to see who was talking. A short male walked out from the shadows that surrounded the place. “Only a rouge bounty hunter would come here. And I know you can’t be a bounty hunter.” He stood there and examined me. “Also, only a person challenging me would know to come here. I’m Jon, the head bounty hunter. No one has challenged me for so long.”
“When were you last challenged?” I asked Jon.
“Before the LGLNR3 cam into power,” he answered. “Why are you here?”
“To challenge you,” I said. “And to take your weapons.”
“You couldn’t beat me,” he said. “Only a ninja can defeat me.”
“Good thing I’m a n1nj4,” I said in response.
“What’s the difference?” Jon asked.
“I’m more powerful,” I answered.
We stood there for a moment. Jon leapt toward me to hit me from above. I rolled out of the way and took out my two sonic blades. I fired a huge sonic blast at Jon, and knocked him back. I leapt up and came down upon him. The battle for the head had begun.
As I fell down to impale Jon, he rolled out of the way and dropped a mine on the ground where he was at previously. I hot the mine and was blown back thirty feet. I hoped up and charged him as fast as I could. Jon jumped over a wall and dropped out of site. I fired a sonic blast at the wall and made a hole in it. He was running down a hill toward the used part of the city. I sent a signal to my vehicle and had it transform into a Chrysler ME (my vehicles are everywhere). It drove over and opened the door for me. I hopped in and drove after Jon.
The ground began to become a dirt path, which turned into a street. I stopped and got out of the car. It turned into the armor that I used when I first encountered the GGR. I jumped up to a building and hid in the shadows. Jon walked beneath me and stopped.
“Matt!” he called out. “Don’t tell me you became a coward!”
I dropped from where I was hiding and hit him with the exploding fist. He flew back and burst into flames. I charged him (the ground was damaged severely during the battle) and fired several rockets. He leapt up and ran down the street. I had the armor “deconstruct” and I ran after him.
As we were running, there was an explosion in front of Jon. He fell to the ground and was nearly buried under ruble. I saw a sonic bomber fly above us. The bomber flew in an erratic pattern, clipping buildings and spinning in a circle at random. It flew around a building and disappeared.
“What was that?” Jon asked.
“A bomber,” I answered. “They’re probably just trying to hit me for practice.”
“Practice?” Jon shouted. “Are you saying that you’re target practice?”
“No, I’m not saying that!” I shouted back. I charged Jon and pulled out the sonic blades. Before I could hit him, a sonic blast was fired and sent both Jon and I flying across the street. As we flew, we attacked each other. We hit the ground (which caused an impact mark) and slid against a building. I put away one of the sonic blades and took out an ion blade and fired a mixed blast. It destroyed a section of the building and it came falling down. I ran off with Jon on my heels. When we were a safe distance away, we took a quick breath. After out quick breath, we began fighting again. He pulled out swords and swung wildly. I hit him in the head with my fist. He staggered back and looked at me angrily.
“What was that?” a girl asked. She was climbing out of the fighter that was hit by the falling concrete and such. She stepped out and looked at the ship. It had been crushed beyond repair. She took out a radio and tried to call for help.
“This radio isn’t working,” she complained. She threw the radio down on the grounds and walked off. She made it to where Jon and I ha slid to look around. She found a piece of paper and looked at it. It read: Need help! N1nj4 is attacking me! He has huge bounty! Get Amber! Jon. The girl looked at it.
“He needs help?” the girl asked herself mockingly. She crumbled up the note and walked off.
Jon shot at me using a handgun. I dropped down behind a chunk of rubble and sat there. When I heard a click, I jumped up and fired my P-90z. Jon leapt behind a dead cow and tried to keep himself concealed. The bullets began to rip through the cow and hit Jon’s arm.
“Ow!” he shouted. I stopped firing and waited. Jon crawled out from behind the cow and dove for a rock to hide behind. I shot him in the leg three times and once in the Achilles tendon. He screamed in extreme pain and stopped moving. I walked over to him and pulled out the ion blade. I stabbed him in the leg with the short end and pulled it across his leg.
“Wait!” I heard someone shout. “Don’t kill him yet!” I stopped cutting his leg open and looked behind me. Amber walked up and looked at me.
“Yes?” I asked.
“Why did you leave the ship?” she asked. “If you didn’t have the armor, you would have been dead! If you just let me knock you out, I could have gotten you to the planet safely.” She sighed and looked at Jon. She took the sword that was still in his leg and pulled it out. He cried in relief. She spun the sword so that the long blade was pointed toward him. She stabbed him in the neck, pulled it out and stabbed him in the head. She sighed again and handed me the sword.
“I assume you enjoyed that?” I asked her.
“Yeah,” she said. “Oh, and you trashed my ride.”
“Oh,” I said. “I’d give you a ride if I wasn’t the Galactic L337 N1nj4 Republic 3mp1r3’s most wanted.”
“How did you,” she began to ask, “know?”
“The dead guy,” I said.
“So,” she said, “what are you going to do now?”
“Some stuff,” I answered.
“Do you need help?” Amber asked.
“No,” I replied. I picked up Jon’s body, placed it in a casket that was lying nearby and walked off. Amber stood there watching me.
I kept walking until I was at some unmarked facility. I walked in and sat down with the casket next to me. I waited for a moment then stood up and walked to the far wall. I pushed the wall a little and a screen appeared. I entered a code and the entire wall opened up. Inside were some computers, jars, and a machine which was silent at the moment. I took out Jon’s body and cut open the skull. I placed the skull in one of the jars filled it with preserve and closed it. I turned on the computer and sat down.
“What happened?” Jon’s voice asked.
“You are currently in a jar,” I said. “A jar with no air holes.”
“I’m going to suffocate!” John wailed.
“You’re a brain right now,” I said. “You won’t die, unless I stop the electric current going to your brain.”
“You’re not…” Jon began nervously.
“No,” I said. “When you get your temp body, you can’t leave this is building. You’re body will be reconstructed and then you can leave.”
“How long until my body is ready?” Jon asked.
“About 3 hours,” I answered.
“And the temp body?” Jon asked. “Hey I can see!”
“The temp body is ready,” I answered. “I don’t know why I’m helping you but I am.”
“Is it wrong or something?” Jon asked. He tried to walk forward but nearly fell on his “head.”
“Don’t break it yet,” I said. I helped him up and gave him a seat and walked off.
“Hey!” Jon shouted. “Where are you going?”
“To get some equipment,” I answered. “You’ll know when you can leave. The body you’re in will automatically walk over to the docking station and remove your brain. It will put it in your body and seal the brain in. When that is completed, you can leave. It doesn’t matter if you tell anyone because it won’t be here anymore.”
“Who won the battle?” Jon asked.
“No one,” I answered. “I’ll take you down still.” With that, I left. I walked down a street hoping not to run into anyone. I noticed someone coming down the street heading my direction. I leapt to the top of the building and hung there for a moment. I looked down and saw Nick walking next to Suzie talking. I climbed down a few feet so I could hear them. When I got close, I heard what they were talking about.
“When will you be able to locate him?” Suzie asked.
“About three hours,” Nick replied.
“Good,” Suzie said. “If he remains free, he could destroy the organization.”
“Matt’s good,” Nick said. “But he’s not that good.”
“Are you sure?” Suzie asked. “He did manage to take down an armada of fighters. He is dangerous.”
“Maybe,” Nick said. “But I doubt that he is that dangerous.”
“Just as long he doesn’t head toward the mainframe computer at the center of the base, we’ll be okay,” Suzie said. When she said that, she looked over to where I was hiding. It was as if she knew where I was. I shivered for a moment, then climbed up the building the rest of the way. Before I climbed completely over, I pulled out my P-90z and fired at them. They dove for cover as I fired. I leapt over the building and ran across the roof. I glanced back and saw Nick and Suzie running after me. Nick was bounding over the buildings and Suzie was leaping from one corner of the roof to anther corner of another roof.
I leapt another building and stopped for a moment. I looked down to see what I could do. I saw an open manhole cover and looked behind me. Nick had almost reached where I was and Suzie had pulled out a handgun. I jumped from where I was into the hole, 30 stories below me. I went into the hole feet first and pulled out my swords. I slammed them into the wall. My swords cut the ladder that led down and allowed me to stop about three feet above the ground. Before I dropped, I charged a blast and waited.
“Don’t run Matt!” Nick shouted from above. “It will be less painful if you turn yourself in!”
I didn’t move for a moment. I then released the blast. A sonic explosion occurred, knocking the walls around down on top of me. I fell to the ground and ran. I heard the concrete crash behind me and sealing off the opening and probably causing massive damage to the street above.
I ran through the sewer until I was exhausted. I sat down for a moment to catch my breath and to make sure that no one was following me. After I caught my breath I walked the rest of the way to the GLNR3 headquarters.
Jon sat around waiting for his body to be completed. He had been there for two hours and was getting impatient. He walked over to the door to see what was going on. As he looked outside, there were several explosions about thirty blocks away. The shockwave that came from it knock him down and across the room. He stood up and looked back out the door. He shook his head and walked back across the room.
I made it to the manhole that would put me in front of the building. I climber the ladder and stopped just before under the cover. I waited for a moment. Above me, there were footsteps constantly going across and many voices. I couldn’t here much, but what I did hear made me nervous. I could hear stuff about Jon being killed and stuff about me being a fugitive. I dropped down to the floor and walked a little farther. I reached a door within the sewer. I checked to make sure there was no security around the immediate area. I entered the room with caution and looked around. There was a panel with buttons, but that was it. I looked at the panel and pressed the C button. There was a slight whir and the room began to move. I waited until the elevated stopped moving and the doors opened. Just as they opened, I leapt to the ceiling and waited for a second. When I felt that it was safe, I dropped to the floor and entered the room. I glanced around and saw nothing.
Jon had been sleeping (as well as a brain in a jar can sleep) when his body moved suddenly. He awoke and saw that he was going to get his body back. While he was getting prepped for the conscious brain transplant when the power shut off.
“No!” Jon yelled. He stood up and began punching the wall.
“Punching the wall won’t get your body back,” Amber said. Jon looked at her.
“How did you get here?” he asked.
“Matt told me,” she answered. The power came back on and Jon’s body shut off. Amber removed the brain and put it into Jon’s body. She took out a cattle prod and stabbed Jon with it. The electricity made Jon’s heart started and he jumped up.
“Why did you help me?” Jon asked.
“I need you to help me,” she said.
“Help you do what?” he asked.
“Find Matt,” she answered.
“How?” Jon asked. He stood up and walked around for a moment. “He never said anything about where he was going.”
“Did he say why he left?” Amber asked.
“No,” Jon said. “All he said was to stay here.”
“Let’s go,” Amber said.
“Go where?” Jon said.
“The GLNR3 headquarters,” Amber said. “Where else?”
“Fine,” Jon answered. “I’ll go.”
I walked around the room and became annoyed. I went back to the elevator door to try a different level. I looked for any way to open the door and all I found was a small panel with one button. I pressed the button and waited. Nothing happened. I turned around and saw a huge computer in the middle of the room. I walked up and saw a monitor with random writing going across the monitor. I was about to touch the monitor when I heard voices. I leapt to the other side of the computer when there was a small flash.
“This is cool,” I heard someone say. I climbed to the top of the computer and looked down. I saw Jon and Amber standing around looking at the computer.
“Yeah,” Amber said. “This is where all of the GLNR3’s information is. They made it on a different level than the one it was on before. They figured that if Matt found it, he would destroy it. I’m looking for him so he doesn’t destroy it.”
I pulled out the hilt of one of my swords and jumped down. Both Jon and Amber looked at me.
“I have no intention of destroying this,” I said.
“Then why are you here?” Amber asked.
“To infiltrate the complex,” I answered. “If I access this computer, I can learn the entire floor plan and anything else that I need to know.” I walked up to the computer (no where near the monitor) and put my hand on it. I stood there for a second as if I had been frozen. I suddenly took my hand off and stepped back.
“What’s wrong?” Amber asked.
“About everything that is in this building,” I replied. I looked around the room and found a door. I ran towards it and activated my sword. Amber jumped in my way before I could reach the door.
“You’re about to do something stupid,” Amber said. “I know it. The same thing happened the last time we fought on Earth. You grew angry and went on a rampage. When you cooled of, you could fight and plan better. If you want help then ask for it!”
“But I don’t think Matt’s going to need help,” Suzie said. She and Nick walked in through the door. “Unless, Matt needs assistance being a lab rat.”
I glanced at Nick and he looked at me. Suzie stepped forward and pulled out a knife. She was about to throw it when Nick slammed her hand suddenly.
“What the…” Suzie stammered.
“I’m not going to let the L337 N1nj4 3mp1r3 fall to the hands of a female army!” Nick declared. “Especially if the leader is still standing! Matt?”
“Yeah?” I asked.
“What are your orders?” he asked. I looked at him and smiled. A bright light appeared around me quickly and faded just as fast. When the light was gone, I was wearing a long, black leather jacket, black leather gloves, and a handkerchief across my mouth
“Take down this building and make the GGR scatter!” I yelled. Suzie leapt at Nick and several GGR elite fighters ran in. I rolled and pulled out a P-90z and fired. Jon and Amber stood there for a moment and did nothing. The battle began to escalate, and room was soon on fire.
A |
s the room burned, Nick and I looked across at Suzie. She stared back at us. Her elite fighters stepped in ready to attack. I glanced over at Jon and Amber to see what they were doing. Amber had stepped over toward a window and was looking outside. Jon was standing there not knowing who he should fight for. I looked at the fire and I had reached a pipe line.
“What’s in that pipe over there?” I asked. Suzie looked.
“Natural gas,” Suzie said worriedly. The fire began to lick the pipe and the pipe started to bend some. Suzie and her soldiers backed out of the room and had the door sealed shut.
“Crap,” I said. I slammed into the door to see if it would open. “She’s trapped us in here.”
“We could leave through the vents,” Jon suggested. I looked at him and rolled my eyes.
“The smoke would travel up the vent and kill us that way,” I said. I looked back at Amber and saw that she was gone. I ran over to the window and looked out. She was climbing down the building wall to a platform below.
“What happened?” Nick asked.
“We leave by window,” I said. Both Jon and Nick looked at me as if I was crazy. Behind us, the pipe burst causing the gas to stream out. “Now!” I leapt out the window and fell down to the platform. Nick and Jon leapt just before the room exploded and destroyed everything in the room. I landed on the platform and looked around. Amber climbed down next to me, and Nick landed next to her. Jon landed flat on his face in front of us.
“That hurt,” Jon groaned. He stood up and looked over the platform. “That’s high!”
“Yes,” I said. “If you can’t land on two feet from a 10 foot drop.”
“What?” Jon asked. “The explosion knocked me around as I fell!”
“Okay,” I said. “Where can we enter and get a ride?”
“There,” Amber said. She pointed to a ship leaving a huge room in the building. A door closed after it had reached a safe distance out.
“There should be some Infiltrators in there,” Nick said. “I made sure of it.”
We found a window that we could enter and not be noticed by security. I fell into a hole in the floor after I came in. I climbed out and walked off angrily. Amber directed us to the hangar bay without any form of interference from security. As Nick had said, there were hundreds of Infiltrators parked and ready to leave. We made our way to the fighters and were about to enter them and leave, an alarm sounded. GGR foot soldiers ran toward us firing stingers at us.
“What the…” I started.
“There must be security on the floor!” Jon shouted.
“Didn’t you know this?” I asked Amber over the fire of stingers.
“No!” Amber shouted. “I haven’t been in here for a few months! Suzie never told me that there was new security!”
We sat there under fire trying to think of a way out of this. I became impatient and took out an ion blade sword and a sonic blade sword. I charged a blast from the main blade (I modded the ion sword) and sat for another second or so. Before I could fire, all of the soldiers stopped firing and fell down. I drained the charge and walked out into the hangar. I heard something drop behind me and I spun around. A male in a black body armor suit stood there.
“I figured you needed some help,” he said. “So I gave you a hand.” The person began to walk off.
“Who are you?” I asked him.
“I’m an assassin,” he said. “I might come to kill you, I might not. If you want to hire me, you can.” He tossed a card toward me. I caught it before it hit me.
“You’re working for the GGR?” I asked him.
“I finished that job six minutes ago,” he said. “People can only hire me once and only for one day.” He stopped walking and stood there. “I’ll also intend on stopping the GGR from reaching my home.”
“And that is?” I asked.
“If I told you, you’d come to take it,” he said. “I know you’re the leader of the N3 and I also know you want to stop the GGR. But I can’t risk telling you where I live. I’m Sean, by the way.” He ran toward the hangar bay door and leapt into the air. Before he disappeared, I threw a tracker on his back. He disappeared into the sunset.
“Wow,” Jon said. “It’s already evening.”
“Let’s go,” I said, “before more reinforcements come. As we left the city, I opened a radio channel. I heard Nick ask a question that nobody had an answer to.
“Where do we go next?” We all flew quietly. I looked out into the distance wondering that same thing. I noticed a large cruise ship approach us.
“Please identify yourself or be destroyed!” I heard someone command on the radio.
“Um…” I said. I wasn’t sure that I should identify myself here.
“Who are you?” the voice asked again impatiently.
“I’m Matt,” I said. “Leader of the N3.” The radio was quiet for a moment.
“It’s about time, general,” the voice said with respect.
“Who said you could call me general?” I asked angrily.
“You still don’t want to be called that?” the voice asked. “You’re clear to board.”
We flew our fighters into the hangar and landed. I jumped put and walked about three feet and stopped. I turned around to see if everyone had made it in okay. Jon fell over when he got out and Nick looked nervous. Amber stood there bored. I turned back around and waited for 0.2341343 seconds. (I can time things fairly well.) Vincinte landed next to me holding a case and some extra boxes.
“Hey Nick!” Vincinte called. He tossed a long case to Nick who caught it without effort. He opened it and a smile spread across his face.
“My tank sniper!” Nick exclaimed.
“He loves that gun doesn’t he?” Vincinte asked.
“Yep,” I answered. “Is that his original gun?”
“Yeah,” Vincinte said. “I made some new versions based on that one.”
“Nice,” I said. “Do you intend on leaving this planet?”
“No,” he said. “I’m clocking the ship and getting closer to the city. I intend on getting the equipment needed for some stuff.” He walked off and exited the hangar.
“We’ll be here for a day or so,” I said. “If you get cabin fever, then take a fighter and fly off the ship.” I walked off and disappeared.
Three hours later, I was at the bridge. Vincinte was at one of the control panels entering some data. Nick walked on the bridge and looked around. He glanced outside and stepped over to the closest screen.
“What happened?” Nick asked. “It looks like a war occurred here.”
“Because on did,” I answered. “About three years ago, there had been a war here. If you haven’t noticed, the civilization that lived here has disappeared. Nobody has seen or heard anything about the civilization that once lived here. The only other thing that could have happened is that after the war here, they went underground. We’ve tried to locate any unusual energy signatures or any life signs.”
“Have anything?” Nick asked.
Vincinte stood and shook his head. “The only energy readings are from any nearby ship, both GGR and N3.”
I stood there and sighed. I walked over to a monitor and opened a document. “Vincinte?”
“Yeah?”
“Give us a recap of the TS3.”
“Okay. The TS3 is a more powerful version of the tank sniper. It contains an enhanced version of the tank sniper ammo. It uses the same firing system, but the ammo is much more dangerous. If fired at close range, it’s as powerful as the original ammo. But when fired at long range, it could take out any cruiser and still continue to move. When it stops, that is when it has exploded up to 5 times. Its range is 9.38 miles from the target. We had a TS2, but that was a fluke. It exploded somewhere over a mine out near a GGR base. It only destroyed a door though. The ammunition is one bullet coated with replicating plasmatic ooze. We have no true name for the ooze.
“This gun is so advanced that we’ve had to install buffers on it. The buffers ensure that the gun itself doesn’t explode. The buffers couldn’t contain all of the power so we had it drain any unused energy into these off hand rocket launchers on the gun. You can fire them with this button here. The rockets will lock on to any target you think of. These guns are also user specific. This particular one unassigned at the moment. It is also the most unstable one. I’m afraid to give it to one of the other soldiers because of the instability of it. I figured that Matt would use this one.”
“Yes I would,” I said. I picked the gun up and felt the weight in my hands. “How would I conceal this?” The gun suddenly collapsed in my hands to form a watch.
“That’s cool,” Nick said. “You could take anyone down.”
“Yes I could,” I said. I walked toward the door. “Break time is over. It’s time to bring the GGR to their knees.”
We went to hangar bay and got some things ready. Amber and Jon walked in.
“What’s going on?” Jon asked. “Are we being invaded?”
“Nobody knows that we’re even here,” I said. “We’re going to make an attack on the GGR city. If this works, we’ll have them on the run and make ourselves known in the galaxy.”
“Aren’t you already known?” Amber asked. “I mean, you have the largest rap sheet of all the GGR’s most wanted list. Most have a sheet of a bunch of theft or arson. You have huge amounts of massive destruction on yours.”
“And?” I asked. “I could care less. This battle will be quick. I intend on taking down the main building. Oh yeah! Nick, Vincinte!”
“Yeah?” they both called from the other ends of the bay.
“You’ll need these!” I shouted. I tossed two helmets into the air. The helmets were black and had an eye guard that was large enough for a person to see through and were narrow in-between the eyes. In the back of the helmet, there were three small ports. Two had small pipes leading off them with vents on the end and the other led down to the leg.
“What are they?” Nick called.
“Blast helmet!” I answered. “Put them on! When you put them on, well, I’ll explain later!”
Within five minutes, several hundred n1nj45 had appeared and were armed and ready for action. We climbed onto transport ships and left the hangar. There were fighters surrounding the transports and they created a cloak over the transports.
“Okay,” I said. Vincinte and Nick were sitting there looking at a small item that had been produced by the helmet. “These are blast helmets. They’re used for these types of weapons.” I handed them each a P-90 titanium. “These will blind you if you aren’t wearing the helmet. The object you are holding is a carbon bomb. Those things can wipe out tanks with thirty layers of armor. They are produced by you breathing and are user friendly.”
“User friendly?” Vincinte asked confused.
“They won’t harm you,” I explained. “Also, the thing on your leg where the bombs are placed can be used for other things like knifes or mines. Just don’t die during this battle.”
As the transports flew toward the city, I began to fall asleep. Nick and Vincinte watched as I drifted off and looked away. When I was completely asleep, I leaned toward the door and fell out.
“Yah!” I shouted as I fell. I spun in the air to see where I was going to hit. I thought I would become a new ornament on a flag pole. I hit something metal instead. I opened my eyes (and I didn’t know that they were closed) to see gray metal beneath me. I climbed forward to glance into the cockpit. I was confused when I saw myself flying the ship. I slid back for a moment then looked again. I still saw myself. I slid back and rode the rest of the way. The ship landed in the hangar bay in one of the buildings. From the looks of it, it was a private bay and wasn’t used by anyone else. I watched as I saw myself leave the ship and walk towards a landing spot. He stood there and waited. A few moments later, a second ship arrived. I couldn’t tell who stepped out at first until the person came around the ship.
“Hello Matt,” I heard a person say. I nearly shot the person I saw. It was Suzie. She had pulled out something and handed it to the other me.
“Hello Suzie,” the second Matt said. “Just to inform you, the N3 is approaching. I also heard something hit my ship when I was coming. I don’t know what it was though.”
“I think I know what hit your ship,” Suzie said. I glanced around at first then realized what she meant.
“Oh, hi,” I said. I dropped behind the ship and ran off.
“Who was that?” The second Matt asked.
“It’s Matt,” Suzie explained. “He’s the leader of the N3 and is a very dangerous n1nj4.”
“Wait,” the other Matt said. “I thought I was Matt and worked for the GGR as an operative.”
“You do,” Suzie said. “You’re a clone.”
“Oh who?” he asked.
“The guy who fell off your ship.” Matt stood there dumbfounded.
“Impossible!” I shouted. “How could you have cloned me?”
“We have our ways on doing that,” Suzie said. Gunfire started suddenly, striking almost anything in the way.
“Where is he?” Matt shouted. “I’ll kill him and I’ll be the only Matt!” A second later, Matt began to bleed. He fell over and blood began to pour from his mouth. Suzie made her way over to see if he was okay. I stopped shooting to see what had happened.
“Matt?” she asked quietly.
“Kill him,” the other Matt said weakly. “Ple…” His body went cold and limp.
“I swear Matt,” I heard Suzie say; “I will kill you for this!” I shrugged and began placing charges around the room and near fueling spots. A few minutes later (Suzie was still sitting there) I walked over to the main door that led outside. I opened it and got ready to leave.
“Need a push?” Suzie said. I turned around.
“Aren’t you getting to worked up about this?” I asked. “I mean, you could have done better than make him work for you.”
“He was my friend!” she screamed.
“A friend that could betray you at any moment,” I said.
“What does that mean?” Suzie asked.
“We did work together,” I said. “Actually, I worked for you. But, as you know, I betrayed you. I became a renegade, starting a war in the process. You just wanted the person who did everything for you. That won’t happen again. That’s the problem with clones. They’re unstable and are just like the person that they were cloned from. Keep that in mind.” I leapt from the building and fell several feet before I launched my magnetic grapple. It connected to a nearby wall and pulled me up. When I reached the wall, I looked for a way in. The window next to me was open and the room it led to was empty. I limbed in and sat down for a moment.
“I wonder if he is in here,” I heard a person say. I stood up ready to fight. The door opened and a girl stepped in. I nearly passed out when I saw who it was.
“Hi Matt,” the girl said. She stood there in some sort of awe, as if she hadn’t seen me and expected me to be somebody else. “How did you find me?”
I stood idle for a moment. “I didn’t. I was just trying to find a way into the building so I could get down.”
“Oh,” the girl said. “Do you remember who I am?”
“Yeah,” I answered. “You’re Kira. You were a trainee of mine. Nick and I taught you everything you know.” Kira was the best of all the n1nj45 that Nick and I trained. She was 5’ 6”, had long hair and carried a sword all the time. If she didn’t carry it, then she was kidnapped or you’re not talking to Kira.
“What’s going on?” she asked.
“I’m about to start a major battle against the GGR,” I answered.
“Can I help?” Kira asked.
“Sure,” I answered. “Just to let you know, since you left, we’ve began to use weapons like guns a lot more now. I still use a sword, but many of us use guns or something like it.”
“Okay,” she said. “I’ll be okay.” She smiled at me and waited. I nodded and exited her apartment. We made it to the ground level and made our way to the rendezvous point before anyone began a search. I explained everything that had just happened and we went and got into position.
